Released in 1977, the Ivy-Leaguers series introduced oversized frames inspired by the youth fashion of the era. Named the “Wellington Type” by founder Tetsuji Yamamoto, this model helped establish the Wellington shape as a defining eyewear style in Japan.

The front features a clean hinge design without decorative rivets. Faithfully reproduced using original-style soldered hinges and carefully sourced deadstock parts, it carries the brand’s original design philosophy into the present day.
